I found only two booths of fresh vegetables out of 80 various vendors. Commenting about this at the customer service tent, I was told several more vegetable, fruit and organic produce vendors would be forthcoming. When I returned Nov. 3, the market had 16 vegetable booths, two of which were organically grown. It was a pleasure to have all these fresh vegetables, herbs, etc., from which to select, and the pricing was very reasonable. The Humane Society had the cutest dogs and kittens for adoption. I found large selections of jewelry, handbags, sunglasses, even specialty waters. I cannot forget to mention a vast variety of bakery products and delicious food. The children had pony rides and a petting zoo, and of course the beautiful water fountains in which they love to play.Several sponsors at the market gave away gifts or services. Premiere Wellness Center was giving free massages. Gordon and Doner, attorneys at law, were giving away free gifts, as well as Sam's Club. Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers was giving away free Saturday newspapersThe Green Market has created fun for all ages and definitely has added to our local prosperity, a must see for all.Congratulations to the organizer, Event Management, as well as all of the Civic Center event planners for creating a real winner. See you there. Plenty of free parking available.Lucie Business Women's 19th Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show TCPalmMore than 250 women took advantage of the weather and the setting and dressed in pretty pastels or vibrant colors to welcome spring at the Port St. Lucie Business Women's 19th Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show held at the Harbour Ridge
