helpful when ever I had any special requests. I would highly recommend Houston Shoe Hospital to anyone looking for shoe repair. They been around forever, and that obviously for a reason! It has been my experience that the Houston Shoe Hospital does not shoes as they claim to. Nor do they make your shoes look good as new as I had been told. I took a beautiful pair of Isaac boots in for a new leather half sole, and was talked into replacing the heels as well. After paying them over 120 dollars for their services, I cried when I picked up my boots! They had cut the leather where they put on the new half sole, which was so thick that the leather pulled away from it without me even so much as putting them on. The heels looked nothing like the originals and appeared as though a child had colored them with a Magic Marker! The heels also were misaligned and upon lifting the insoles inside, I found nail heads protruding a good 14 of an inch! It a good thing I didn dare wear them looking as poorly as they did. I cried my eyes out and contacted the manager on multiple occasions regarding the poor customer service. They refused to refund me my money and told me that wasn the way they do business. If you truly want your shoes to look like new again, I would NOT recommend the Houston Shoe Hospital. I paid another 120 dollars to a reputable place in the Rice Village area and was fortunate enough to have my boots saved. I will NEVER return to the Houston Shoe Hospital.Houston gets its first Jonathan Adler storeIf you've been anxiously awaiting Houston's first Jonathan Adler store since it was announced in November, get ready.
