Creek is definitely not what it used to be. I grew up here and have lived in WC my entire life until two and half years ago I moved out because the traffic was so bad downtown and the businesses attract a lot of wealthy people from outside areas that don know how to drive or park their fancy cars or be friendly to others. It not surprising to me that criminals are taking advantage of the false security people feel in WC, as it used to be a small, quiet and safe town. But no longer! Greedy city council members and mayors have allowed this town to turn into a shopping mall for the elite over the last 15 years and as a native of WC I disgusted and saddened at the sight of what this once quiet town has now become. I feel bad for the employee who was robbed, but these kinds of these kinds of things have been happening for a while now here, I only see it getting worse.I say to Cali Native. California has been a dream and destination for many generations of people from the USA and abroad, but the CA legislature has gotten this place so FUBAR it is not the promised land it used to be. I have told myself I would never want to leave beautiful CA, but am starting to be more open minded about it as I approach retirement age.Mr. Bassman you tell us the State to which you moved? I bring my gun collection, much of which could be illegal next year in CA, and promise not to the locals. If I do ever leave, I would probably still read Claycord for the entertainment, and I am UC Davis educated.I strongly agree with Cali Native. And to Mr Bassman did not say anything offensive. Maybe you should take his comments
