After notifying the sheriff office of his finding, Pitt and another man arrived on an ATV and proceeded to retrieve the weapon. Pitt reportedly presented himself as a law enforcement officer after he and the other man couldn provide a reasonable answer to the witness question. The two suspects then rode away from the scene.The report was forwarded to the criminal division of the sheriff office for further investigation and detectives presented the case to the district attorney, who then issued an arrest warrant for Pitt, whose full name is Larry Matthew Pitt. His bond has been set at $15,000.Pitt is currently on two years probation after pleading guilty on
